Friday 19 February
We are having welcome drinks at the Stalls Lounge on the Middleton Lodge Estate from 8pm the night before the wedding. All guests are invited! Please let us know on the RSVP form if you are able to join.
Saturday 20 February (morning)
There is a Parkrun nearby the estate. If you’d like to start the celebrations early, we would love if you could put on your running or walking gear and join the groom at Darlington South Park Parkrun, for a relaxed morning run or walk!
Saturday 20 February (ceremony)
The ceremony will start at 1:30pm. Please arrive from 12:30pm and head to the Gin Terrace, on the Middleton Lodge Estate.
Sunday 21 February
We’ll be gathering for farewell drinks and coffees on the Middleton Lodge Estate. All guests are welcome, and we would love to see you one last time before we all go our separate ways.
Where to stay
There are plenty of hotels and Airbnbs in the area - but we recommend booking early. We have included a few recommendations below.
Taxis and Travel
The party wraps up at midnight, so we’d recommend booking your taxi in advance to make getting home nice and easy. We’ve popped some local taxi companies below.

Dress Code
The dress code is formal wedding attire. We invite everyone to dress for the occasion and wear something that makes you feel your best. As our wedding is in February, be prepared for cooler weather, so please bring a coat/jacket/wrap and any other warm layers to stay comfortable throughout the day and evening.
Will the wedding be inside or outside?
Both! Alongside the Fig House, we will have exclusive access to the Walled Gardens, and we're hoping to spend some time outdoors enjoying the grounds. However, as it will be February in North Yorkshire, the weather may have other plans, so outdoor elements of the day cannot be guaranteed.
Parking
Middleton Lodge has parking available on site.
Plus ones
Unfortunately, due to space limitations, we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically mentioned on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding.
Children
While we adore all of your little ones, we have decided to have our wedding as an adult-only occasion.
Food at the Wedding
We are hosting a wedding breakfast which will be served mid afternoon and an evening snack. If you have any dietary requirements or restrictions please let us know on your RSVP reply.
Gift Registry
The best gift we could ask for is you sharing our big day with us. If you were thinking of giving us something however, then a donation towards our honeymoon would be hugely appreciated.
